Time Management: Aligning Your Schedule with God’s Purpose
Have you ever felt overwhelmed trying to balance everything in your life? Between family, work, studies, and maybe that business you’re building on social media…it seems like there are never enough hours in the day, right?
This week I want to share with you about something that goes far beyond simple productivity hacks. We’re going to explore together how to work consciously with your schedule to discover a deeper understanding of the plans God has for you. Because yes, managing time doesn’t necessarily mean checking tasks off a list - it’s about aligning your life with your purpose.
Before We Start: Your Life Is Unique
Here’s a super important note I want you to keep in mind: each person’s lifestyle is completely unique.
Think about it for a moment:
Some are moms and dads with small children, while others don’t have kids.
There are those who leave home every day to work, and others who have their office at the dining room table.
Some are attending in-person classes, while others are taking advantage of distance learning.
See? We’re each in a different season, with unique circumstances. That’s why the strategies I’m going to share with you are completely adaptable. Feel totally free to modify them, adjust them, and personalize them according to your particular situation. There’s no magic formula that works the same for everyone.
What We’ll Work on Together
Now let’s get down to business. Here’s the action plan we’ll develop during this week:
Analyze Your Current Schedule.
First of all, we need to honestly look at how you’re using your time right now. We can’t improve what we don’t know, right? We’re going to do a real analysis of your day-to-day life.
Identify Your Personal and Family Priorities.
What’s truly important to you? And to your family? Often we live on autopilot without asking ourselves this. It’s time to clarify what those things are that truly matter.
The Right Order of Priorities
Here comes something fundamental - and I want you to pay close attention to the order:
First, God
Second, your household schedule
Third, your work schedule
Yes, you read that right. Note the order. When we put each thing in its correct place, everything else begins to flow more naturally.
Finding Spaces for Your Social Media Business
If you have a business or are building something through social media, we’re going to identify together those available times you can dedicate to this - without neglecting what comes first on your priority list.
Rest Time Is Non-Negotiable
This is super important: we’re going to make sure your schedule includes time to rest. You are not a machine, and God Himself rested on the seventh day (Genesis 2:1-3, NIV). Rest is part of the divine design for your life.
Adjust and Adapt
Life changes constantly, right? Kids grow up, we change jobs, new opportunities arise. That’s why we’ll learn how to adjust your schedule in response to those inevitable changes that life brings.
Special Bonus: The Benefits of Being a Good Time Manager
And as if all that weren’t enough, I’m also going to share with you how this entire process will benefit you as a time manager. Because when you learn to manage this valuable resource well, the results show in every area of life.
Ready for This Journey?
So here we are, about to begin this adventure together. It’s not about making you busier or filling you with more things to do. It’s about aligning your time with what truly matters, with the purpose God has for you.
During this week, we’ll go step by step exploring each of these points. Bring your planner, bring your honesty, and above all, bring your open heart to discover how God wants to guide you in this area of your life that’s so practical yet so spiritual.
Stay tuned! 😉
This is your beginning, and I promise you it will be transformative.
